Headley Village Hall and Stores were built and given to the village in 1903 and have been owned through a charity since 1919. In recent years the hall has been extensively renovated and offers an excellent venue for meetings, classes and social events.
Located near Epsom, Ashtead and Leatherhead, Headley Village Hall is in a picturesque setting, overlooking open fields in the Surrey Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty with many pleasant walks. The hall is conveniently situated adjacent to the village stores - with its highly rated tea rooms - and the village pub, The Cock Inn. Catering may be organised through the tea rooms, if desired.

The hall size is 30’ x 19’ (9.2m x 5.8m) and has seating capacity for 60 people. Upholstered dining chairs and 10 tables are supplied. The kitchen has the latest built-in facilities with a double oven, microwave and high-capacity larder fridge that can cater for a wide range of social events, from refreshments serving small classes to full-scale meals. The hall has wi-fi for general use. Those wishing to have disabled access to the hall should contact us in advance by e-mail.
There is car parking and a rear garden with picnic tables accommodating 16 people. A further supply of 6 lightweight chairs is available for hirers’ use.
Hire rates for the hall compare favourably with other local venues. The rates per session from 1st March 2026 are:

A security deposit of £60 (£100 for evening sessions Fri-Sun) also applies. A 10% discount is available for Headley residents or for block bookings of 8 or more sessions. For social events we only accept bookings from hirers living within a four mile radius of the hall.
